【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthequalityandsizesofcrushedstone,crushedslag,crushedexpandedshale,crushedexpandedclay,crushedexpandedslate,andcrushedoruncrushedgravelsuitableforuseasaggregateinsingleormultiplebituminoussurfacetreatments.1.2ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Inch-poundunits,showninparentheses,areforinformationonly.1.3Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4.1Regardingsieves,perSpecificationE11x201C;ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallbeconsideredstandardforthedimensionsofthewireclothopeningsandthediameterofthewiresusedinthewirecloth.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsshallbeconsideredstandardwithregardtothesieveframes.x201D;Whensievemeshsizesarereferenced,thealternateinch-pounddesignationsareprovidedforinformationpurposesandenclosedinparentheses.
