【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedforusebyanyindividualwhenreasonablyexpectedtobethesubjectoflitigation.Theintentofthisguideistosetforththeminimumrequirementsforeducationandtrainingofanindividualwhoadministerspsychophysiologicalexaminations,andwhorendersanopinionastoattempteddeceptionortruthfulnessofasubjectwhohasbeentested.Polygraphstandardshavechangedthestandardshereinrepresentthecurrentindustrystandards,individualswhocandocumentthattheyweretrainedatapolygraphschoolwhichwasfullyaccreditedbytheAmericanPolygraphAssociationpriortoJanuary1998,shallbedeemedtohavemettheminimumprofessionalstandardsforpolygraphexaminertrainingatthetimetheyreceivedtheirinitialbasicpolygraphtraining.IndividualswhoreceivedbasicpolygraphtrainingpriortoJanuary1998atapolygraphtrainingschoolwhichwasnotfullyaccreditedbytheAmericanPolygraphAssociationstandardsmaybequalified,providingtheycandocumentthattheirbasicpolygraphtrainingwassubstantiallyequivalentinlengthandcurriculumasrequiredforAmericanPolygraphAssociationpolygraphschoolaccreditation.1.1Thisguidecoverstheminimumbasiceducationandtrainingrequiredforanindividualinvolvedinthepsychologicaldetectionofdeceptioninusinginstrumentswhichmeasurephysiologicalresponsesintheareasofbreathingorrespiration,changesinelectrodermalactivity,andchangesinpulserateandrelativebloodpressure.1.2ForadditionalstandardspromulgatedbyASTMCommittee,seePracticeE1954.
