【摘要】:Theserequirementscovertoytransformersdesignedtobeusedonnominal120-Vbranchcircuits.Atoytransformerisastep-downisolatingtransformerofthelow-secondary-voltagetype.Itisintendedprimarilytosupplycurrenttoelectricallyoperatedtoys,andassuchisexpectedtobesubjectedtocarelessuseandprobableshortcircuitofthesecondaryterminals.Accordingly,thedesignofatoytransformertakesintoconsiderationtheratherunusualriskoffirethatmaybeinvolved,andtheconstructionismadetoreducetheriskoffirewithrespecttotheignitionofnearbycombustiblematerialastheresultofoverheatingoreventualinoperativeconditionofthetransformeritself.Theserequirementsdonotcovertoysorthelikedesignedtooperatefromthesecondaryoutputofatoytransformer.Toytransformersmarked"Class2"areevaluatedtotherequirementsintheStandardforClass2PowerUnits,UL1310,andtotherequirementsinthisStandard.
